See why I am so sad? She is so sweet. This isn't the best picture - I had to scan it. You probably can't see but she has snow on her back. She loves the snow.

poor Z dog - what an adorable face!

You gave her many good years, and you are being a good mommy to her with your decision. She doesn't need to go through any unneccessary pain. Just spoil her as much as possible for the days she has left.

Thanks ESC. Once I can wrap my head around it and come to terms with it I will be ok. She is so spoiled now, too. R keeps giving her all kinds of bad-for-doggy foods, like waffles and meatballs. And she got TWO doggy bones this weekend too! She's in heaven, she just doesn't know why! I'm just glad dogs don't know what's going on. I wouldn't want her to be as sad or scared as I am.

She's not gone yet. Still hanging in there - it is just scary to get a cancer diagnosis in anyone, even a dog. Thank you.
